June 10 -- Pitching Party with JoJo Jensen

Don't let pitching at conferences freak you out! Come to the Pitch Party and learn the skills you need to write and delivery your pitch with confidence. Learn how to craft an attention grabbing pitch, how to talk to agents and editors without passing out, and learn what to do after they say yes, or no.

JoJo loves talking to writers about writing. Her well attended workshops and classes on pitching (Pitch Party), rejection (Why Aren’t I Published Yet?) and community (Got People?) give writers the skills they need to market their manuscripts, cope with rejection and find support. JoJo has led other workshops including, "What Now? How to market a completed manuscript" and "Killer Query." She is the author of Dirt Farmer Wisdom (Red Wheel/Weiser 2002) and is a frequent speaker at the University of Oregon, Lane Community College and Willamette Writers. JoJo is the chair of Mid-Valley Willamette Writers in Eugene, Oregon where she promotes the writing life by bringing in monthly speakers to inspire writers of all skill and genres to keep writing.
